FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why don't you list your phone number or
email?
Unionwear.com represents 5 different union
factories that sell custom logo gear nationwide through
advertising specialty ("ASI") or promotional products ("PPA") dealers. To
locate a dealer immediately
enter your zip code at left, fill out the form, and you will receive an
auto-reply with a phone number and email for a local dealer. If you
are a qualified reseller see the Reseller Register link up top.
Can anyone buy Unionwear?
Anyone who can order in bulk can buy from a
Unionwear dealer. Companies, government agencies, political
campaigns, churches, teams, schools, organizations, nonprofits, schools,
and entrepreneurs can buy them for outings, events, resale, fundraisers,
festivals, trips, conventions, reunions, parties, awareness raising,
promotions, and catalogs.
How can I buy one hat or shirt for
myself?
Unionwear only sells goods wholesale in
quantities of 50 or more.
For retail vendors of blank union label goods visit
http://www.justiceclothing.com
or http://www.nosweatshop.com.
To purchase a product with your union logo
on it we recommend visiting the merchandise or catalog page of your
national's website.
If I don't like anything I see can I
customize it?
Yes. All products are made in union shops
to order--even the goods we stock--and if an apparel, embroidery, or
screenprinting feature can be done we can do it for you with low minimums
to customize.
How much more is Union Made than
American Made?
A union label is a guarantee against
sweatshop labor. Non union clothing factories, even in America,
rarely offer vacation and sick days, paid holidays, health, dental, or
life insurance, or a pension plan. For this guarantee you can expect
to pay 5% to 15% more depending on how labor intensive the product is.
If the spread is significantly more than that it is fair to question the
product sourcing.
Are you authorized to duplicate the
union logos you show?
Unionwear is not authorized to sell any of
the union logos we show. For you to order these logos, be prepared to show
that you have the authority to hire Unionwear as your embroiderer or
screenprinter for the purpose of duplicating your union's trademark.
